    These Slow Cooker Creamy Swedish Meatballs are the ultimate comfort food, combining tender, flavorful meatballs with a rich, creamy sauce. Perfect for busy days, this recipe lets your slow cooker do all the work while you enjoy the delicious results. Serve these meatballs over egg noodles, mashed potatoes, or rice for a hearty, family-friendly meal. The addition of allspice and nutmeg gives the dish its signature Swedish flavor.     Ingredients:

    1 large onion, finely chopped

    2 cloves garlic, minced

    1 tablespoon olive oil

    2 pounds ground beef

    2 large eggs

    3/4 cup breadcrumbs

    1/4 cup milk

    1 teaspoon salt

    1/2 teaspoon black pepper

    1/2 teaspoon ground allspice

    1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

    3 tablespoons all-purpose flour

    2 cups beef broth

    1 cup sour cream

    2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

    1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

    Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

    Directions:

    1. Sauté Aromatics: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté the chopped onion for 5 minutes until translucent. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute. Transfer the mixture to a large bowl.

    2. Make the Meatball Mix: In the same bowl, combine the onion mixture, ground beef, eggs, breadcrumbs, milk, salt, pepper, allspice, and nutmeg. Mix gently until everything is just combined (avoid overmixing to keep the meatballs tender).

    3. Shape and Place in the Slow Cooker: Roll the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and arrange them evenly in the slow cooker.

    4. Prepare the Sauce Base: Whisk flour and beef broth together in a medium bowl until smooth. Pour this mixture over the meatballs.

    5. Cook Low and Slow: Cover the slow cooker and cook on low heat for 6 hours. The meatballs should be cooked through and flavorful.

    6. Finish the Sauce: In the last 30 minutes of cooking, stir in sour cream, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard. Let the mixture heat through, creating a creamy, rich sauce.

    7. Serve and Garnish: Serve the meatballs with fresh parsley on top. Pair with egg noodles, mashed potatoes, or rice for a complete meal.
