    Philly Cheesesteak Stuffed Shells

     

    Philly Cheesesteak Stuffed Shells

     

    Satisfy your cheesesteak cravings with these Philly Cheesesteak Stuffed Shells a delicious fusion of creamy pasta and savory steak! Perfect for a family dinner or meal prep.

    Ingredients:

    1 lb (450 g) large pasta shells

    1 lb (450 g) ground beef or thinly sliced steak (like ribeye or sirloin)

    1 green bell pepper, diced

    1 small onion, diced

    2 cloves garlic, minced

    1 cup (100 g) shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese

    1/2 cup (50 g) shredded cheddar cheese

    1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

    1 tablespoon olive oil

    1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

    1/2 teaspoon salt

    1/4 teaspoon black pepper

    1 1/2 cups (360 ml) Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)

    Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

    Instructions:

    1. Cook the Pasta Shells:

    Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.

    Add the pasta shells and cook according to package instructions until al dente.

    Drain, rinse with cold water, and set aside.

    2. Cook the Steak and Vegetables:

    In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.

    Add the ground beef or thinly sliced steak, bell pepper, onion, and garlic.

    Cook until the meat is browned and vegetables are soft (about 5–7 minutes).

    Stir in Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.

    Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

    3. Prepare the Filling:

    In a large bowl, combine the beef mixture with shredded provolone or mozzarella and half of the cheddar cheese.

    Mix well.

    4. Stuff the Shells:

    Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

    Lightly grease a 9×13-inch (23×33 cm) baking dish.

    Spoon a layer of Alfredo sauce into the bottom of the dish.

    Stuff each shell with the beef and cheese mixture.

    Place the stuffed shells into the baking dish.

    5. Add Alfredo and Cheese:

    Pour the remaining Alfredo sauce over the shells.

    Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on top.

    6. Bake:

    Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes.

    Remove the foil and bake for another 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

    7. Serve:

    Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot with a side salad or garlic bread.
