    Dutch Apple Bread Recipe – A Must-Try Delight

    Ingredients:

    – 1 cup water
    – 2 tsp butter
    – 3 cups flour
    – 1/4 cup brown sugar
    – 1 tsp ground cinnamon
    – 1/2 tsp salt
    – 2 tsp yeast
    – 1/2 cup diced apple (peeled)
    – 1/3 cup walnuts or crushed walnuts

     

    Instructions:

    1. Prepare the Yeast Mixture:
    – In a small bowl, combine 1/2 cup of warm water with a teaspoon of sugar. Add the yeast to the warm water and let it sit for 10 minutes until it becomes frothy.

     

    2. Mix the Dough:
    – In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, salt, butter, and the remaining water. Knead the ingredients together until well incorporated.
    – Once the yeast is activated, add it to the dough mixture and knead until smooth. Adjust the consistency with additional water if needed.

     

     

    3. Prepare the Apple Mixture:
    – In a separate bowl, mix together the diced apples, ground cinnamon, brown sugar, and walnuts. Allow the mixture to sit for half an hour to let the flavors meld.

    4. Combine and Knead:
    – After the resting period, combine the apple and nut mixture with the dough, ensuring even distribution.

     

     

    5. Transfer to Mold:
    – Grease a bread mold with oil and transfer the dough into the mold.

    6. Bake:
    – Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Bake the bread for approximately 40 minutes or until it is golden brown and cooked through.

    7. Enjoy:
    – Let the bread cool slightly before slicing. Enjoy your delicious Dutch Apple Bread!
