Delicious Steak and Cheese Sandwich Recipe

This delicious steak and cheese sandwich recipe features tenderized steak strips cooked with caramelized green and red peppers, onions, and seasoned with salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic & ginger paste. The steak mixture is then stuffed into bread rolls, topped with grated cheddar cheese, and baked until the cheese melts. Perfect for a quick and satisfying meal, these sandwiches combine savory flavors with a cheesy finish.

Delicious Steak and Cheese Sandwich Recipe

    Ingredients:

    – 2 TBSP olive oil or vegetable oil
    – 1 green pepper, thinly sliced
    – 1 red pepper, thinly sliced
    – 1 onion, sliced
    – Salt to taste
    – 1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
    – 1 tsp paprika
    – 2 tsp garlic and ginger paste
    – 600 grams tenderized steak, cut into strips
    – Grated cheddar cheese
    – 8 bread rolls

    Instructions:

    1. **Prepare the Vegetables:** Heat the oil over medium heat. Add the green and red peppers and the onion. Cook, stirring often, until caramelized, about 5 minutes. Remove the onions and peppers from the pan and set aside.

    2. **Cook the Steak:** In the same pan, add the steak strips. Season with salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic & ginger paste. Cook until the steak is tender, about 30-40 minutes depending on the cut used.

    3. Combine Ingredients: Return the caramelized peppers and onions to the pan and toss to combine with the steak.

    4. Prepare the Rolls: Slit the bread rolls from the top, without cutting through. Fill each roll with the steak mixture and sprinkle with grated cheddar cheese.

    5. Bake: Place the filled rolls in a preheated 180°C oven for about 5 minutes, or until the cheese has melted.

    6. Serve and Enjoy: Enjoy these delicious steak and cheese sandwiches hot!
