    Cheesy Swiss Chicken Casserole Recipe

This Cheesy Swiss Chicken Casserole is a creamy, comforting dish that’s perfect for busy weeknights. Tender chicken breasts are topped with Swiss cheese, a savory cream sauce, and a crunchy herb stuffing topping for a deliciously satisfying meal. With minimal prep and easy ingredients, it’s a foolproof recipe for beginner cooks. Pair it with fresh veggies or a salad for a well-rounded dinner. Perfect for feeding the whole family or meal prepping for the week!

    Ingredients:

    4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

    8 slices Swiss cheese

1 can (10.75 oz) cream of chicken soup

    1/4 cup milk

    2 cups herb-seasoned stuffing mix

    1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

    Fresh parsley, chopped (optional garnish)

    Instructions:

    1. Preheat & Prep: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter or non-stick spray.

    2. Layer the Chicken: Lay chicken breasts flat in the dish. For even cooking, pound thicker pieces to an even thickness. Top each chicken breast with a slice of Swiss cheese.

    3. Make the Sauce: In a bowl, whisk together the cream of chicken soup and milk until smooth. Pour the mixture evenly over the chicken and cheese.

    4. Add the Topping: Sprinkle the herb-seasoned stuffing mix over the casserole, then drizzle melted butter evenly on top.

    5. Bake: Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and the topping is golden and crispy.

    6. Garnish & Serve: Let the casserole rest for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley for added flavor and color, if desired.

    Pro Tips & Pairings

Serve with steamed vegetables, roasted broccoli, or a crisp green salad to complete your meal.

Leftovers? Store them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave for best results.
