    Ingredients:

    For the Filling:

    2 cups (300 g) cooked shredded chicken

1 cup (240 ml) cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup (120 ml) sour cream

    1/2 cup (120 g) shredded cheddar cheese

    1/4 cup (60 g) diced green onions

    1 teaspoon garlic powder

    Salt and pepper to taste

    For the Pastry:

    1 package (400 g) puff pastry, thawed

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

    For the Topping:

    1 cup (240 g) shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 teaspoon dried oregano or Italian seasoning

    Instructions:

    1. Prepare the Filling:

In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream cheese, sour cream, cheddar cheese, green onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth and creamy.

    2. Prepare the Puff Pastry:

    Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into equal squares (about 4-5 inches).
Spoon the chicken mixture into the center of each square. Fold the pastry over the filling and seal the edges with a fork.

    3. Arrange and Bake:

Place the stuffed pastry pockets on a greased or parchment-lined baking sheet, seam side down.
Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
Bake for 20–25 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.

    4. Add the Cheese Topping:

Remove from the oven and sprinkle shredded mozzarella over the pastries.
Top with dried oregano or Italian seasoning.
Return to the oven and bake for 5–7 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

    5. Serve:

Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Serve warm as a main course or with a crisp side salad.
