Cheesecake Brownies

 

Indulge in the decadent fusion of velvety chocolate and luscious cheesecake with these tempting Cheesecake Brownies. Perfect for any occasion, they’re bound to impress your guests!

Ingredients:

Brownies:
– 12 ounces semi-sweet or bittersweet chocolate chips
– 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, cubed
– ¾ cup granulated sugar
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 3 eggs, at room temperature
– ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
– ⅓ cup cornstarch
– ½ teaspoon salt
– 1 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips

Cheesecake Layer:
– 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
– ½ cup granulated sugar
– 1 egg, at room temperature
– ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

 

Directions:
Preparation: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch square baking pan with cooking spray and line it with parchment paper.
Brownie Batter: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips and butter in 30-second intervals, stirring each time until smooth. Stir in granulated sugar and vanilla extract. Gradually add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. In a separate bowl, whisk together cocoa powder, cornstarch, and salt, then add to the chocolate mixture. Stir until the batter is smooth and glossy. Fold in mini chocolate chips. Pour two-thirds of the batter into the prepared pan.
Cheesecake Layer: Using a mixer, beat softened cream cheese until fluffy. Add granulated sugar, then the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth. Spread the cheesecake mixture over the brownie layer.
Assembly: Dollop the remaining brownie batter over the cheesecake layer, then swirl gently with a knife.
Baking: Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out mostly clean. Allow the brownies to cool completely before slicing.
Enjoyment: Cut into squares and serve. Store any leftovers in the refrigerator for later indulgence.
