    Brownie-Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookies

Why settle for just brownies or cookies when you can have both in one indulgent treat? These Brownie-Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookies combine fudgy brownies and soft, golden cookies to create the perfect dessert for chocolate lovers. Ideal for those who can’t decide between brownies and cookies!

    Ingredients

    For the brownies:

1 box (18 oz) brownie mix

Ingredients as listed on the box (eggs, water, oil)

    1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

    For the cookies:

1 cup butter, softened (2 sticks)

    1/2 cup sugar

    1 cup brown sugar

    2 tsp vanilla extract

    2 large eggs

    1 ¼ tsp baking soda

    1 tsp salt

    3 cups flour

    2 cups chocolate chips

    Instructions

    Make the brownies:

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8 or 9×9-inch pan with parchment paper or greased foil.

Prepare the brownie batter according to box instructions. Fold in 1 cup of chocolate chips.

Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake as directed, aiming for a fudgy center by underbaking slightly. Allow to cool completely.

Cut cooled brownies into 1 ½-inch squares (approximately 25 pieces).

    Make the cookies:

    Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large mixing bowl, cream together softened butter and both sugars until light and fluffy (about 2 minutes).

Add in the vanilla extract and eggs, and beat until smooth.

Add flour, but don’t mix yet. Stir the baking soda and salt into the flour, then mix everything together until just combined.

    Fold in the chocolate chips.

    Assemble the Brownie-Stuffed Cookies:

Scoop out two 1 ½ tablespoon-sized balls of cookie dough. Flatten each ball in your hands.

Place a brownie square on one flattened dough ball, then top with another flattened dough ball, pinching the edges to completely enclose the brownie. Repeat with the remaining dough and brownie squares.

For best results, freeze the stuffed cookies for 30 minutes to prevent them from spreading too much while baking.

Bake for 13-15 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.

Let the cookies cool on the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Enjoy warm for a gooey, chocolatey experience!
