    Ingredients:

1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain

    2 tbsp soy sauce

    1 tbsp cornstarch

    2 tbsp vegetable oil, divided

    1 medium onion, sliced

1 bell pepper (red or green), sliced

    2 cloves garlic, minced

    1 tbsp ginger, minced

    1 tbsp oyster sauce

    1 tbsp rice vinegar

    1 tsp sugar

Salt and black pepper, to taste

    Green onions, chopped (for garnish)

    Cooked rice (for serving)

    Instructions:

    1. Marinate the Flank Steak:

Toss the sliced steak in a bowl with soy sauce and cornstarch, ensuring even coating. Let it rest for 15–20 minutes for a tender, flavorful base.

    2. Prep Your Aromatics:

Slice the onion and bell pepper, then finely mince the garlic and ginger.

    3. Heat the Skillet:

Warm 1 tablespoon of oil in a large wok or skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering hot.

    4. Sear the Steak:

Lay the marinated steak in a single layer. Cook for 2–3 minutes per side until nicely browned. Set aside.

    5. Stir-Fry Vegetables:

Add the remaining oil to the skillet. Stir-fry the onion and bell pepper for 3–4 minutes until tender-crisp. Toss in garlic and ginger, cooking for an additional 30 seconds until aromatic.

    6. Combine and Flavor:

Return the seared steak to the skillet. Pour in oyster sauce, rice vinegar, sugar, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Stir everything together and cook for another 2 minutes.

    7. Plate and Serve:

Garnish with green onions and serve hot over steamed rice.

    Prep Time: 20 minutes

    Cook Time: 10 minutes

    Servings: 4
