    Cajun Honey Butter Salmon Recipe

     

    Cajun Honey Butter Salmon Recipe

    This Cajun Honey Butter Salmon is a mouthwatering blend of sweet, spicy, and savory flavors. The tender, flaky salmon is seasoned with a bold Cajun spice mix and topped with a luscious honey butter glaze for the perfect balance. It’s quick to make, taking less than 30 minutes, making it an ideal choice for busy weeknights or special occasions. Serve it with your favorite sides for a restaurant-quality meal at home.     Ingredients:

    4 salmon fillets, salted and seasoned to taste

    6 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened

    1/3 cup honey

    Cajun Seasoning Mix:

    2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning

    2 tablespoons garlic powder

    2 teaspoons Italian seasoning

    2 teaspoons paprika (use smoked paprika for extra flavor)

    1 teaspoon cayenne pepper

    1 teaspoon onion powder

    1 teaspoon cracked black pepper (or 1/2 teaspoon finely ground)

    1/4 teaspoon salt

    1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

    Instructions:

    1. Prepare the Cajun Honey Butter:

    Mix the Spices: Combine all Cajun seasoning ingredients in a bowl.

    Whip the Butter: Beat softened butter with an electric mixer for 2 minutes until fluffy. Blend in the honey and 1 tablespoon of the Cajun seasoning mix.
    Pro Tip: Save the leftover seasoning in an airtight container for future recipes it lasts up to 3 months!

    2. Season the Salmon:

    Pat salmon fillets dry with a paper towel for a crispy exterior.

    Rub the fillets with oil, then sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper.

    3. Cook the Salmon:

    Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.

    Cook salmon fillets for 6-8 minutes per side or until the fish is cooked through and forms a golden crust.

    4. Add the Cajun Honey Butter:

    Once the salmon is cooked, turn off the heat.

    Spread a generous layer of Cajun Honey Butter over each fillet while it’s hot.

    Allow the butter to melt slightly, then flip the salmon and repeat on the other side.
